The Demands of Rarity
At Grasse, rarity is not a choice, it is a requirement. Our exceptional raw materials are produced only in limited quantities; striving for the highest quality means embracing restraint. Histoire de Provence favors enfleurage, an ancestral craft that allows time itself to reveal the full depth of the flowers.
More than a candle or a home fragrance, you become the holder of an authentic fragment of Grasse’s heritage.
THE WORLD CAPITAL OF PERFUME

In the 18th century, Grasse, famous for its glove-making craftsmanship, began exploring the art of perfuming leather infused with powerful scents.
This new focus on perfumery eventually overshadowed glove-making, prioritizing the cultivation of fragrant plants and the extraction of their essential oils for blending.
Grasse, an emblematic city and the Perfume Capital, had its 'perfume know-how' inscribed as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage in November 2018.
