Delivery and returns

Delivery policy

Histoire de Provence delivers the ordered Products only in the countries of the European Union, (except postal boxes, DOM- TOM, Cyprus and Malta).

 

Histoire de Provence reserves the right to condition the shipment of the order to full payment of the price by the Customer.

 

Three modes of delivery are available:

shipment by COLISSIMO home,

shipment by COLISSIMO in Point-Relais,

shipment by UPS.

 

Delivery times are given below. These times are given in working days, from the date the order is dispatched.

 

The Customer will be informed by e-mail when the carrier has taken charge of the parcel. They will then be given a delivery number which will enable them to track the progress of their order in real time.

 

 

If the Customer is unable to take physical possession of the order on the scheduled delivery date, they may:

schedule a new delivery,

or collect the parcel from a relay point.

 


 

Returns and refunds

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

 

In accordance with the provisions of Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may, without giving any reason, withdraw from his/her order within a period of fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the product(s) ordered, the date shown on the carrier's receipt signed by the Customer being taken as proof.

In the event of split deliveries, the date of delivery of the last item will be taken into account. When this fourteen (14) day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended until the next working day.

As a reminder, the right of withdrawal only applies to consumers and non-professionals.

 

EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The Customer must express his unequivocal will to retract. In order to facilitate the exercise of the right of retraction by the Customer, Histoire de Provence established a form of retraction (link towards the form of retraction) which it is recommended to use for any request for retraction. The Customer fills out the form and returns it by post to the following address, Histoire de Provence, Service orders, 232 chemin des fourches 06530 Saint Cézaire sur Siagne, or through the contact form, which allows to attach to the request a file, and which is accessible via the following link: contact form.

Although its use is recommended, as it avoids misunderstandings as to the purpose of the request, the Customer is not obliged to use this withdrawal form. In any event, the Customer must clearly and unequivocally express his/her wish to withdraw from the contract. There must be no doubt. He may use the postal address or e-mail address indicated above to communicate his withdrawal to Histoire de Provence, on any medium and in any manner whatsoever.

RETURN PROCEDURE

 

Each Product must be returned new with its original packaging. Histoire de Provence will not carry out any refunding if the Products turned over by the Customer do not correspond to (x) product (s) ordered or would have another origin that the Site.

The return postage will be borne by Histoire de Provence, which will transmit the shipping label, Colissimo or UPS, prepaid to the Customer before returning the order to exchange or return. The Customer will then drop off the package the corresponding collection point (Colissimo or UPS) of his choice. The Customer will then be reimbursed upon receipt of the product(s).

REFUND OF THE ORDER

 

Histoire de Provence will proceed to the refund of the returned products, as well as the expenses of delivery by credit of the bank card having been used for the payment. In case of partial return of products, delivery charges will not be refunded by Histoire de Provence insofar as the Customer will have benefited from the delivery service for products retained. The refund will intervene within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days following (i) the return of products or (ii) the date on which the Customer has provided proof of shipment of products (the date retained being that of the first of these facts).

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

 

Complaints relating to Products ordered on the Site, including those for the exchange of Products, are dealt with exclusively via the Site's after-sales service, which can be contacted using the contact form contact form.

The points of sale for the brand's products may under no circumstances be contacted for complaints relating to an order on the Site.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

Histoire de Provence could not be held responsible for the non-execution or the incomplete execution of one of its obligations if the bad execution of the contract results from a case of absolute necessity such as defined by the law, the fact even of the Customer or the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third with the contract.
 

The Products must be used in accordance with the recommendations of use accompanying each Product. The modification of the Product, its transformation, its use diverted or not in conformity with these recommendations can create damage whose responsibility cannot be supported by Histoire de Provence.

LEGAL GUARANTEES

 

Histoire de Provence offers no guarantees other than legal guarantees.

 

NON-CONFORMITY AND HIDDEN DEFECTS

 

Histoire de Provence is held of the legal guarantee of conformity and that relative to the defects of the sold thing.

The Customer is invited to verify the conformity of products received in execution of his order and, in case of defect found, to contact the Customer Service of the online shop Histoire de Provence which will ensure its support by indicating the modalities of return and replacement or refund. In case of non-conformity or proven defect, the costs of returning the Product are borne by Histoire de Provence.

The replacement product will not be delivered until Histoire de Provence has received the defective product. If the replacement product is impossible or can not be implemented within one (1) month from receipt of the defective product by Histoire de Provence, the Customer will then have the choice between:
