Using a snuffer prevents splashes of hot wax and ash residue that could disrupt the candle's burn. A snuffer also puts the flame out without smoke, avoiding unpleasant odours in the home.

In certain ancient traditions, extinguishing a candle with a snuffer rather than blowing it out is believed to preserve the energies gathered while preparing the ritual.

The wick trimmer is also very useful for extending the life of your candle. A long wick produces a larger flame and a faster burn, so we recommend trimming the wick to 0.5 cm (¼ inch) before each use for the best experience.
